Andrew Boer established Boer Architects, Inc. in 1988 after working as a project architect for ten years at several of Milwaukee’s most prestigious architectural firms.  He has been licensed as an architect since 1982 and is currently registered in Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.  He served in the United States Air Force from 1972-1976 and received both his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies in 1979 and his Master of Architecture in 1984 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.   Mr. Boer is also NCARB certified and a member of the American Institute of Architects.

As the managing principal at Boer Architects, Inc. Mr. Boer oversees all major business functions including marketing and project development.  He also leads the firm’s programming and design effort on all major projects. 

As both a project architect and project manager Mr. Boer has designed and managed numerous projects including educational, municipal, commercial, religious, retail, multi-family and single family residential building types.  He has significant experience in programming, building design, working drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction administration.  His background has given him exceptional management and coordination skills in directing design and engineering teams toward the successful completion of large complex projects.  The majority of his experience implements building remodels, renovations and restorations that provide remarkably improved built environments for the end users.
